Chula Vista is the county’s second-largest city, running from the walkable Third Avenue village up into the master-planned neighborhoods of eastern Chula Vista and down to a bayfront under long-term redevelopment. It offers newer construction and more space per dollar than central San Diego, and is a common choice for first-time buyers and growing families.
